I'm glad it's back to normal -- I kept running and hiding because it felt like everyone was yelling at me!

you must have put in the wrong password more than three times, that's when the CAPTCHA kicks in.

but I increased it to 5 wrong passwords before you see it .

i know, but my phone makes it difficult to put the passeprd on properly, cos it switches randomly from small case to capitals. My phone that is, not the forum...which is a bugger cos password is case sensitive and one letter keyed wrong screws me up. I only wanted to check in cos i have been away since yesterday morning

I did a software upgrade last night, but everything looks fine to me,
and in IE6, all I can see is the top menu is cut off :obrother: but other than that, everything looks normal in IE6 .

is it just this website that's doing it ?

Psst, Jefe! I dowloaded IE8 this morning. Yeah, I took the plunge and it was painless!

I much prefer IE8 than the stinking IE6

Much better, the writting is now back to normal. No matter where I go on internet, everything is better. I was a real donkey for putting it off until this morning.

What made me do it? There's a radio channal that I like to listen online. For weeks now, the sound would cut off and - in 90% of the time - I had to reboot, reboot and reboot again. I troubleshot the problem this morning and it suggested IE8. I did and voilà! Streaming perfectly :cooldnce:

So the Mrs is a happy camper now.
Hey, anyone up for roasted marshmellows? I'm buyingggg :campfire:

Well Opera was also a choice :) I thought of sticking to something I'm familiar with. But I am not saying I won't take a plunge for Opera in the future :)

The move went well, we all all settled in. We are working in a last room - reading/relaxing room. It's on the last floor beside the master bedroom. The master bedroom is huge... we have big bedroom furniture and still there is much room left. The reading/relaxing room is smaller but still a nice size and... there's a balcony door in that room. Perfect lighting for reading/writting.

The invitation for visiting us will always be an open one to you. There's a nice guest bedroom in the basement with a full bathroom a few feet away. You would feel at home, I don't doubt :cooldrink:
