I would sooner read at homem unless of course it was a study book and i was hanging around waiting for transport.

I'll go into a coffee shop to grade papers. I can focus in there better actually... and it's interesting that y'all brought up Starbucks. I used to be hooked on their ventiskimextrahotwithwhippeppermintmochas, but have started going to Panera in the mornings now. It's cheaper and they don't over-roast their beans!


... and now that I'm a regular, the manager gives me free food (day-old product) ALL the time!

I can't say that I go to a coffee shop in order to read a book. Although I highly understand the attraction in doing that

Coffee shop, I like those for meetings people that we don't really want to come to our place, when a meeting is in order business wise or personal wise.

To be totally honest, I rarely leave home without a book - unless time out will be spent on running errands.

Speaking of books: I bought Jacob an Ebook Reader, for Christmas. I got him the Sony Touchscreen - the PRS600S in silver. Those things are expensive... especially once the prolongue warantee is added to the mix.

Got the boyfriend an iPod touch. It's a selfish present. I want him to take it to the gym when he works out, so he won't expect me to talk to him the whole time. This way I can listen to music too!
