lol!!!
i think we ran out of newsworthy stuff last night cos on the national news, there was a long segment on it about how bored the people in vancouver are without the olympics... wandering around wondering 'what they are going to do now', etc.... well what the hell did they do 2-3 WEEKS AGO, before the Olympics? LOL. Or perhaps they could watch the paralympics, which so many people ignore. Sheesh lol.
oh gotta go, matt stole some candy from darian's room and is sitting under the kitchen table to eat it LOL. he doesn't talk, but he knows how to hide to eat snacks LOL

We enjoyed the bit that we saw. At 10pm, lights were turned off and beddy bye bye we went. I enjoyed the opening of the closing ceremonies: The 4th pillar finally came out and it was lighted up! Now we says that Canadians don't have a good sense of humor and we can't laugh at ourselves?

After William Shatner, it all seemed to get a little ... "odd" ... with all the girls dressed as RCMP and lumberjacks and inflatable moose ...
But yes, the part with the fourth pillar was terrific!

Looks like they had loads of fun Things are going well. It's warm and then cold and warm again. Today almost got to 70F and the sun was out. I spent the weekend at the beach with my friend Alex. We went and sat in the sand watching the silly Spring Breakers go into the cold water. We also saw a little kid get dive bombed by sea gulls. Note to all: You may think it's cute to send your 4 year old child to the beach with a bag of bread to feed the sea gulls but they will get dive bombed and you will all probably get pooped on. Remember that sea gulls are white rats with wings. Nasty. Jojo

Lol @ seagulls. We have them all over the place here (and pelicans, which is funny since we are a 12-15 hour drive from the ocean and just have a muddy river going through town lol). but the gulls are a PAIN. I love this one restaurant that's only open in summers, the food is SO yummy, but the whole place gets surrounded by gulls looking for grub. It's an old style drive in so people keep throwing a few fries out for the birds and it annoys me cos now you can't sit outside at the picnic tables without them swoopin and poopin around you. GRRRR lol
We've had really nice weather for about 2 weeks, a bit warmer than the norm most days and much warmer a few times (mid 50s) but now this morning we have snow again. boo!
